The Client
Our client is a top American biopharmaceutical company specialising in treatments for chronic and rare diseases. The business is a global leader in pharmaceutical development, with treatments administered in over 170 countries worldwide.
The Challenge
The company had developed a new, orphan neurology treatment for a rare condition. For an effective treatment rollout, the business required an urgent delivery of materials and medtech components to support nurses and patients in the field, and lay the groundwork for long-term therapy compliance.
They were seeking a seamless management solution that would offer online ordering capabilities to the end user, allowing for materials to be delivered to both nurse and patient addresses on demand. Timeliness was the key outcome, with the business needing to facilitate urgent or overnight deliveries to distribute stock on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis and provide the immediate means for continued patient adherence.
Our Solution
Harte Hanks facilitated urgent deliveries of critical treatment devices by creating an online ordering system integrated into warehouse operations, allowing for fast delivery options, complete stock overviews, the ability to limit orders when stock levels are low and full traceability.
The solution was designed to be easily accessible and offered various levels of delivery choices whilst providing product traceability for both supplier and end user. Our state-of-the-art, European warehouse facilities ensured a safe and secure storage of materials and rapid distribution across Belgium.
Using an activity-driven model, the Connected Care team built a lean, agile and cost-effective process, ensuring flexibility as demand fluctuated. Our connected product recall services added an additional layer of assurance, with the client having the ability to track materials both in the warehouse and in the field and pull real-time reports of item distribution and location.
